How can I change the maximum number of players in my world?
You can use the ‘SetMaxPlayers
‘ command in the console to change the number of players. The absolute maximum is 32 players, but depending on your network connection having a lot of players might make things slow. -
You mentioned the current release as Chapter 1, what is the chapter system about?
The plan is to release FortressCraft chapters, each 240MSP (roughly $3), on the Xbox Live Indie Games (XBLIG) store. I currently have definite plans for four chapters, and slightly more vague ideas for a few more! As above, if you have any ideas for features you would like to see in FortressCraft please let me know and I’ll try my best to include them!

So your plans only include the Xbox 360 so far? What about for those of us who can’t access XBLIG in my countries, or don’t have an Xbox?!
Initially FortressCraft will only be available on XBLIG, however I am looking at PC distribution methods. If I can get distribution sorted for FortessCraft on the PC it will probably be more along the lines of “pay $X and you get all updates ever”. Unfortunately Sony doesn’t provide indie games support like Microsoft does, so it’s incredibly unlikely that FortressCraft will see a PSN release.

Is FortressCraft coming to other platforms? PC, OnLive?
We are working towards releasing FortressCraft via OnLive and then on PC, so YES these versions are in the works. Keep an eye on our Twitter feed for ongoing information.

My SteamHeroes code doesn’t work in FortressCraft
Please make sure you follow the instructions given in SteamHeroes to letter (literally). We have yet to have a code that genuinely doesn’t work. We know it’s a bit fiddly, but please keep trying.
you guys should put pre made objects in the next update

you have to have a chatpad for xbox the press the shift button on it
Click Shift, Then type in [setname] then space, and type in [doorswing] Example: setname doorswing
make sure to have a keyboard and go into your workshop and name the custom block doorswing.
There have been rumours that you are able to get the wiki axe by putting forth suggestions to fortresscraft, are they true?
I would like to see customisable pickaxes or maybe like clan pickaxes which you and your friends can design and make so you all have the same unique pickaxe
I think you should add beds and
doors and other stuff like that.
You can use the workshop to create your own custom blocks to make anything you want: beds, tables, all sorts. (Youtube Tutorial)
You can also create your own door objects as shown in this Youtube tutorial.

Ive been a complete idiot. I accidentally TNT’d my own workshop. How do you get it back to normal without resetting the world?
Destroy ALL the wooden blocks of the work shop, then restart the game. When you rejoin you will be asked if you want to rebuild your spawn node.
I would like it if you could add a mode that would give you ideas or show you peoples worlds and post your world also could you add no freeze on the rpg mode mine always freezes
Hi, me again I’ve got another idea could you add an axe that you could earn in fortresscraft like for filling all your custom blocks and use them all once or twice and you would be rewarded with a custom axe that the players could customize

You should add everyday objects like beds, curtains, tables, chairs etc to save the hassle of having to make it in the workshop. You should use the workshop to make unusual objects. You should include more decorative blocks in which to design with. I think you should make an option in which you can decide what size the block is. Also I think you should include rollercoasters, cars etc not just minecarts and the most obvious more weapons.

We are working on a version for OnLive. There is a PC version in the works but we could not say when it might be ready yet I’m afraid.
Recently, ive just downloaded the new update for fortresscraft also i downloaded the game steam heroes i have got the steam axe now it will not let me build with it on any servers including mine why is this? please reply someone
The Harrison axe is not an axe for building. Use a different axe.

i would like more and better blocks and be able to make a waterfall without water going everywhere and u should put guns in to kill the zombies and when are the minions r coming out and diffrent types of weather for the next updates. ps:plz and thank u
Suggestion* you should add a new type of zombie that carries dynamite and when it explodes it only kills the surrounding ppl not the environment around

Make sure you follow the instructions exactly and to the letter. Any mistakes and it might not work.

Steam Heroes gives you instructions. Follow them to the letter and it will work.
I think that the axes, besides the steam axe, should be easier to earn. Also, how do I get zombies? Do I need to use command codes?
To get zombies you need to create a monsteremitter

hi i think you have done a great job with FortressCraft. i was wondering if i download the 1.09 update will it effect my world i worked hard on it. also new weather would be cool. pre made furniture, electronics, and house ware would be neat. also doors. and workshop looks cool but we should be able to pick the size. i am so excited for Chapter 2 soon do you know when it will be realeased? i hope many new features will be in it. also the option to have multiple worlds would be nice

Multiple worlds and dual ownership of a single world
I can only build 6 custom blocks. I have more spots but they are all empty. Now it won’t let me build in my workshop at all. PLZ HELP!
is there a way to erase ALL custom blocks or to get more than 64?

i think there should be customizable spawns when u start a new world so u could either make it low high medium what blocks and stuff like that

I had the idea of upgradable relics. The upgrades could be found underground after you have collected all relics. Such as when speed boots upgrade(s) is/are collected the speed boots go even faster than they usually do. And when the ray gun upgrade(s) is/are collected the ray gun destroys blocks even further than they usually do. Also when the jump boots upgrade(s) is/are collected the jump boots jump higher than they usually do. Etc.
This happens a Lon time ago , but I bought Fortress craft on 1 account, after awhile I started using a different account and it worked perfectly fine. The. When the update date with all the different lanterns or whatever happend my whole world disappeared and I still can’t get it back. Is there any way I can??
How do u make mine carts on fortress craft I’m stuck
Can you add an option where you can have multiple projects, like you’re building in one but you want to keep it one theme and another project another. So basically add at least 3 save spaces on the indie game if possible, it would be interesting and great!
